Madoka Harada
Madoka Harada ( jap. 原田窓香 , Harada Madoka * 15. January 1985 in Nagano ) is a Japanese luger .
Madoka Harada, a student from Nagano, has been running luge since 1995. Since 2004 she has been part of the Japanese national team. She made her international debut at the 2004 Luge World Championships in her hometown, where she finished 21st on her home track. Since the following season , Harada has also been competing in the Luge World Cup . Her best placement so far, she reached eleventh at the start of the 2007/08 season in Lake Placid . At the 2005 Luge World Championships in Park City , the Japanese finished 20th in the individual and eighth with the team. Biggest success so far was reaching the 13th place at the 2006 Olympic Winter Games of Turin . At the Luge World Championships 2007 Harada finished 22nd in the individual competition and was again eighth with the team.
