Harald Feineis

Harald Feineis (born July 15, 1951 in Würzburg ) is a German politician ( AfD ) and a member of the Hamburg Parliament from January 1, 2018 to March 2020 .

Life

Feineis studied civil engineering and from July 1974 worked as a mechanical project engineer and construction manager on large construction sites in South Africa , Zimbabwe and Saudi Arabia . From 1986 he studied Protestant theology and from 1991 he was a full-time pastor . In January 1997 he founded the Christian Aid Organization for Africa with the Ghanaian pastor Alfred Osei-Poku and the engineer Jan Pahl . The non-profit association supports development aid projects in various African countries. From 2001 to 2017 he was also an employment and recruiter , career advisor and coach . In 2004 he was awarded the title of D.Min. (Doctor of Ministry) awarded.

In 2013 Feineis co-founded the AfD in Hamburg-Harburg. On January 1, 2018, he succeeded Joachim Körner in the Hamburg parliament . There he was a member of the following committees until March 2020: Family, Children and Youth Committee, School Committee, Sports Committee, Committee on Science and Equality, Committee on Social Affairs, Labor and Integration, Health Committee. He no longer belongs to the citizenship elected in 2020.

Feineis has been married since 1974 and has three grown children.
