Joachim Körner (politician, 1945)

Joachim Körner (born September 15, 1945 ) is a German mathematician , physician and politician ( AfD ). In 2015 he was elected to the Hamburg parliament.

Life

Körner completed a degree in mathematics and physics and then studied medicine. According to his own statements, he then worked as a doctor primarily in clinical research and medical information for pharmaceutical companies.

Körner is a member of the Alternative for Germany (AfD). In the state election in 2015 , he was in the Hamburg Parliament elected. There he is a member of the submission committee and the committee on the constitution, rules of procedure and election review. At the state party conference on October 3, 2015, Körner was elected deputy chairman of the AfD Hamburg . In November 2017, he announced that he would resign from his citizenship mandate at the end of the year. Instead, he would like to concentrate more on party work.
