Harald Punt (born February 18, 1952 ) is a former Dutch rower . In the lightweight - One he was 1974 (unofficial) vice world champion.

In 1970 Harald Punt was sixth in the single at the Junior World Championships without weight restrictions. In the adult sector, Punt was only active as a lightweight rower.

In lightweight rowing, FISA championships were held from 1974 to 1984 ; it was not until 1985 that these championships were officially known as the World Rowing Championships. At the first edition of the FISA championships in 1974, Harald Punt finished second behind the American William Belden and ahead of the Swiss Reto Wyss . In the next three events, Punt finished fifth ( 1975 ), sixth ( 1976 ) and seventh ( 1977 ). In 1979 he was runner-up in the lightweight double scull with Roel Michels .

After his career, the trained boat builder worked as a trainer for various rowing clubs in Germany, where he trained Andreas Schmelz , among others . One of the clubs that Punt works with is the Heidelberg Rowing Club .
