Harald Schukraft

Harald Schukraft (born December 9, 1955 in Stuttgart ) is a historian and author .

Harald Schukraft studied history, political science and geography at the Universities of Stuttgart and Tübingen . His career as an author began in 1981 with the article “The Karlsplatz - its changes through six centuries” , which appeared in the Stuttgart Official Gazette. Since then, Schukraft has published books and articles on the history of Württemberg and especially Stuttgart, where he also offers historical tours and is committed to the preservation of historical buildings.

In 1975 he was awarded the Scheffel Prize.
