Harald Wenzel

Harald Wenzel (born July 29, 1955 in Bruchsal ) is a German sociologist and professor at the Free University of Berlin .

Life

From 1986 to 1988, Harald Wenzel was a research assistant at the Institute for Sociology at the Ruprechts-Karls-Universität Heidelberg . From 1989 to 1990 he was a research assistant there . From 1990 to 1996 Wenzel was a research assistant at the John F. Kennedy Institute for North American Studies at the Free University of Berlin. 1993–1994 he was a John F. Kennedy Fellow at the Minda de Gunzburg Center for European Studies at Harvard University . Then he was senior assistant at the John F. Kennedy Institute at the Free University of Berlin until 2002.

From 2002 to 2004 he held the chair for general sociology at the political science faculty of the University of Erfurt . Since 2004, Wenzel has held the Chair of North American Sociology at the John F. Kennedy Institute for North American Studies at the Free University of Berlin.
