Harden is a small impact crater on the back of the Earth's moon . It is located in the eastern part of the plain formed by the Mendeleev crater . In the southeast, the large Schuster crater overlaps the Mendeleev ring wall .
Harden crater is circular and neither its rim nor its bowl-shaped interior shows any notable marks of erosion or overlap from younger craters. Its albedo is slightly higher than that of the surrounding terrain, but it lacks the bright ejecta materials that are typical of many younger craters.
