The Hardy Point is the western spur of Bellingshausen Iceland in the archipelago of the South Sandwich Islands .
Scientists from the British Discovery Investigations mapped and named the headland in 1930. It is named after the British marine biologist Alister Hardy (1896–1985), who was a member of the advisory committee of this research series between 1924 and 1928.
