The Hardy Rocks are a group of island-like reef rocks west of the Antarctic Peninsula . In the archipelago of the Biscoe Islands , they are 3 km west of DuBois Island .

They were mapped using aerial photographs taken by the Falkland Islands and Dependencies Aerial Survey Expedition (1956–1957). The UK Antarctic Place-Names Committee named it in 1960 after the US physicist and physiologist James D. Hardy (1904–1985), who studied the human body's reactions to cold environmental conditions.
