The Hare Peak is a 2,970 m high mountain with ice-free peak in the Antarctic Ross Dependency . In the Queen Maud Mountains, it rises at the northern end of a ridge that flanks the east side of the Leigh Hunt Glacier .
Participants in a research campaign lasting from 1961 to 1962 as part of the New Zealand Geological Survey Antarctic Expedition named him after Clarence Hare (1880-1967), a participant in the British Discovery Expedition (1901-1904).
