Harold Bolingbroke Mudie

Harold Bolingbroke Mudie (born January 30, 1880 in London , † January 6, 1916 in France ) was a British stockbroker and Esperantist .

biography

In 1903 Mudie founded The British Esperantist , financially guaranteed by William Thomas Stead . Mudie was first Vice President, then President of the British Esperanto Association in 1912 . In 1908 he became the founding president of the World Esperanto Federation . He died as a soldier in an accident in France in January 1916.
