Harry Allouche

Harry Allouche (* in Paris ) is a French pianist, orchestra director and film composer.

Allouche studied composition at the Paris Conservatory with Thierry Escaich , Marc-André Dalbavie , Michaël Levinas , conducting with George Pehlivanian and improvisation with Jean-François Zygel. Since 2017 he has been accompanying silent films with piano improvisations at the Cinémathèque française and the Fondation Jérôme Seydoux-Pathé in Paris . He has worked as an arranger for the Orchester français des jeunes and the Théâtre du Châtelet .

Allouche has been a film composer since 2017. He wrote his first score for the television documentary Le cinéma dans l'oeil de Magnum . In 2018 the film The Piano Player from the Gare du Nord was released , for which Allouche wrote the film music, the orchestral pieces were recorded under his direction.
