Ludovic Bernard

Ludovic Bernard is a French film director and screenwriter .

Ludovic Bernard grew up in Cannes and as a teenager worked repeatedly for the Cannes International Film Festival . Since 1992 he has been hired as assistant director or second unit director by a number of French directors, u. a. by Luc Besson , Richard Berry , Guillaume Canet , Mathieu Kassovitz , Olivier Megaton and Tran An Hung . His work in this area includes around three dozen film and some television productions.

In 2017 he made his first feature film Der Aufstieg , which won two first prizes at the Alpe d'Huez International Comedy Film Festival . After his second feature film, the comedy Mission Pays Basque , he turned with Lambert Wilson , Kristin Scott Thomas and Jules Benchetrit , for which it was the first leading role in a feature film, his third feature film The Piano Player from Gare du Nord .
