Michael Fischer is a German legal scholar .

Life

He received his doctorate from 1993 to 1996 at the University of Erlangen-Nuremberg . From 1994 to 2000 he was Academic Councilor a. Z. with Georg Crezelius at the Otto-Friedrich-Universität Bamberg . After his habilitation in 2000 in Erlangen - Nuremberg ( habilitation thesis "Die Unbegeldlichkeit im Zivilrecht") with the venia legendi for the subjects of civil law, tax law and commercial and corporate law, he held a chair at the University of Erlangen-Nuremberg in the winter semester 2000/2001 and in Summer semester 2001. In the winter semester 2001/2002 he held a chair at the University of Kiel and had a teaching position for international tax law at the University of Halle-Wittenberg . From January 1, 2002, he was appointed to the C4 chair for civil law, commercial law, commercial law and tax law in Kiel (successor to Jürgen Sonnenschein ). On August 1, 2013, he succeeded Georg Crezelius at the chair for tax law.
