Jürgen Sunshine
Jürgen Sonnenschein (* 1938 ; † December 6, 2000 in Kiel ) was a German legal scholar.
Life
After graduating from high school, Sonnenschein first trained as a tax inspector before studying law in Münster from 1961.
After completing his doctorate on a civil law topic for Dr. iur. he received his habilitation in the winter semester 1975/76 with a corporate law thesis with Volker Emmerich in Bielefeld. From 1977 he was a professor at the University of Kiel .
The scientific focus of Sonnenschein's work was tenancy law. Among other things, in 1984 he submitted a draft law on behalf of the Federal Minister of Justice to systematically summarize and reform private tenancy law in the Civil Code. From 1992 to 1995 he was a member of the Federal Government's Housing Policy Expert Commission.
