Néstor Calderón Enríquez (born February 14, 1989 in Guadalajara , Jalisco ) is a Mexican football player who mainly acts in the attacking midfield or in the storm row .

career

Calderón was trained for four years in the youth division of his home club Club Deportivo Guadalajara , but received his first professional contract with Deportivo Toluca FC .

In his first season 2007/08 with the Diablo Rojos , Calderón played for a lower-class reserve team, but was accepted into the first team in his second season. With this he won the Mexican soccer championship in his first half season , the Apertura 2008 . Already in the 2008/09 season Calderón was promoted to the regular of the first team, for which he completed 27 appearances (four goals) in the first division. In addition, he came in the same season to four appearances (one goal) for the farm team Atlético Mexiquense in the second division . He won another championship title with Deportivo Toluca in the Torneo Bicentenario in 2010 .

In summer 2012 he left Deportivo Toluca FC and worked for CF Pachuca in Apertura 2012 . In early 2013, Calderón moved to Club Santos Laguna , where he is currently still under contract, although he is on loan for his hometown club Club Deportivo Guadalajara in the 2016/17 season . With Santos Laguna, Calderón won his third championship title in the 2015 Clausura and six months earlier (in the 2014 Apertura) the Mexican cup competition for the first time in his career .

National team

On October 1, 2009 Calderón celebrated his debut in the Mexican national team in a friendly against Colombia (1: 2) . He made his second appearance for "El Tri" on February 10, 2011 in a friendly against Bosnia , which was won 2-0. Calderón played his other international appearances in three friendly matches against Venezuela , which (from a Mexican point of view) ended 1: 1, 0: 3 and 3: 1.
