Harry Bittner

Harry Bittner (born March 13, 1962 in Altenburg ) is a German lecturer, driving instructor, trainer for driving instructors and freelance specialist author.

Life

Bittner has been a driving instructor for cars, trucks, buses and motorcycles since 1982 and has been a road traffic master since 1989. In 2001 he took over the transport institute Altenburg Harry Bittner eK as managing owner and has been training driving instructors , seminar leaders, professional drivers and teachers ever since . In 2010 he spun off the driving school division from the institute and founded the ABG Fahrschul-Unternehmensgesellschaft. His main areas of activity as a lecturer and trainer include road traffic law , fitness to drive , fitness to drive and driving behavior , safe, environmentally friendly and energy-saving driving style as well as securing loads on road vehicles. In addition, the subject areas of heterogeneity in road traffic, traffic awareness and avoidance of hazards, partnership-based behavior, driving tasks, driving skills deficits and accidents, mobility behavior, traffic regulations and related areas of law, technical aspects of environmentally friendly driving, driver assistance systems and automated driving, basics of driver preparation, design of theoretical lessons, design of practical driving Training, basics of the driving instructor profession and support-oriented learning status and learning process assessment.

In addition to his teaching and coaching activities , Harry Bittner works as a specialist author for the Munich publishing house Heinrich Vogel and has been offering instructor and examination seminars in accordance with VDI guideline 2700 as a VDI- certified instructor for load securing on road vehicles since 2005 . In addition, he publishes specialist articles on special questions relating to load securing on “Lasiportal”.

On November 7, 2015, Bittner was elected chairman of the Thuringian Driving Instructors Association. In 2016 he gave up his position as managing director of the ABG Fahrschule and continued to expand his own company.
