Harry Mohr

Harry Mohr (born January 2, 1951 in Rostock , † November 2, 2014 in Potsdam ) was a visual artist , painter , graphic artist , sculptor and member of the Potsdamer Kunstverein.

life and work

Mohr was a trained shipbuilder and began working as an artist during his army service. As a rule, his works relate to positive emotions, but some also show social criticism. In 1981 Mohr moved to Potsdam, where he also died. Some of his works were purchased by the Schwerin State Museum . A picture of Mohr adorned the label of an exclusive mineral water brand for several years.
