Harry W. Tetrick
Harry Warren Tetrick ( May 6, 1911 - March 17, 1977 in Solana Beach , California ) was an American sound engineer .
Life
Tetrick began his career in 1966 with John Frankenheimer's three-time Oscars racing film Grand Prix . Between 1970 and his death in 1977 he was involved in several film projects each year, including Hollywood episodes like ... Year 2022 ... Who Want to Survive , Pat Garrett Chases Billy the Kid and Westworld . In 1976 he was nominated for the first Oscar in the category Best Sound for The Wind and the Lion . The following year he was nominated twice for an Oscar, but could not win the award for either Rocky or King Kong . Just a few weeks after the Academy Awards, he passed away at the age of 65.
