Hartekamp near Heemstede was George Clifford's summer residence . Carl von Linné was a guest here from 1735 to 1737 and described George Clifford's plant collection in the Hortus Cliffortianus . After 1918 it belonged to lawyer Walter von Pannwitz , the friend of Kaiser Wilhelm II.
