Hartmut Glenk

Hartmut Glenk (born April 11, 1955 in Klafeld-Geisweid , Siegen district , North Rhine-Westphalia ; † January 25, 2020 ) was a German legal scholar, lecturer and publicist. Glenk initially worked as a commercial teacher, head of large educational institutions and business lawyer, specializing in cooperative law .

Teaching

From 1990 (to 2013) initially at the FHTW Berlin : legal issues relating to business start-ups and the corporate crisis, parallel to this: teaching assignments at the Humboldt University of Berlin (corporate law, corporate legal protection , cooperative law) and FHVR Berlin (department of police enforcement service: criminology - commercial criminal law, police leadership ). Lecturer at the German Lawyers Academy: Banking Law, Bank Examination, Banking Supervision Law; Commercial and criminal tax law.

  • Strategic corporate management (Thyssen Handelsunion)
  • Postal reform - a business challenge: legal and business remarks on the restructuring of a state-owned company (FH Post / Telekom Berlin)
  • Legal issues of outsourcing in a large industrial group (Thyssen AG)

Since 1996, Glenk has been director of the Institute for Cooperative Studies and Banking Siegen / Berlin (IGB), bank director Eh and has published more than 140 specialist legal articles.

  • to the obligation of bank directors to pay compensation;
  • on the question of the extent to which an intended merger is to be agreed with the interests of the members;
