Hartmut Guhling

Hartmut Guhling (born December 28, 1968 in Münnerstadt ) is a German lawyer and judge at the Federal Court of Justice .

Life

Hartmut Guhling grew up in Reichenbach and studied at the University of Würzburg . He did his legal clerkship in Schweinfurt .

After completing his legal training, he began his career in the Bavarian judicial service. After serving as a probationary judge for two years from 1996 , he was appointed public prosecutor. He was appointed judge at the Coburg Regional Court in 1999. In addition to his judicial duties in first and second instance civil and criminal chambers, he was, among other things, the advisor for press and public relations at the regional court. In the summer of 2003 he was seconded to the Federal Court of Justice as a research assistant and then until the end of 2006 as a research assistant to the Federal Constitutional Court. After returning to the Coburg Regional Court, he was deputy chairman of civil chambers of first instance and boards of appeal. In September 2009 Guhling was appointed judge at the Bamberg Higher Regional Court.

In March 2013 he was elected a federal judge. On August 1, 2013, he began his service at the Federal Court of Justice and was the XII. Assigned to the civil senate of the Federal Court of Justice , which is responsible for family and commercial space tenancy law.
