Hartmut Wortmann

Hartmut Wortmann (* 1932 in the Eifel ) is a German teacher, composer and editor of children's songs.

Hartmut Wortmann published numerous songs and masses in the early days of the New Spiritual Song together with Hermann Bergmann .

He also composed chansons for Father Heinz Perne such as Now rest the work (O Lord, the day was long), We bring you, oh good God (texts by Hans-Georg Pappe). His song Guter Gott, dankeschön (text: Hermann Bergmann ) was included in the Protestant hymn book under No. 618 .
