Heinz Perne
Heinz Perne SAC (* 8. November 1930 in Oberhausen in the Ruhr ; † 17th January 2008 in Olpe ) was a German priest of the Pallottines , a Society of Apostolic Life , Religion teacher, journalist and song writer.
After the evacuation in 1943 he found a new home in Nentershausen in the Westerwald . After attending elementary school, he began an apprenticeship as a painter. Since 1946 he attended a grammar school; After graduating from high school in 1952, he joined the Limburg Pallottines and studied philosophy and theology . Following his ordination in 1958, he worked for a few years as a religion teacher, then in youth and adult education and as editor of the magazine Daszeichen and co-editor of the picture text books at Lahn-Verlag in Limburg. With his religious chansons and new spiritual songs , Father Perne became known worldwide through his concert tours and radio and television.
