Harzandi ( Tati  : هرزندی) or Harzani (هرزنی) is a dialect of the Tati language spoken in the northern regions of the Iranian province of East Azarbaidzhan . It is exclusively an oral language and a descendant of the ancient Azerbaijani language ( Iranian-Azeri ), which has long been almost extinct due to the spread of Turkish Azerbaijani in the region. Harzandi is spoken by around 28,000 speakers.
