Parts of the Wimsen waterfalls on the Hasenbach |
The Hasenbach is about two kilometers long, left tributary of the Zwiefalter Aach in Baden-Württemberg .
geography
Hasenbach spring
The Hasenbach rises from a rich karst spring west of Hayingen . The source is located in the Glastal below the glass cave on the Lämmerstein . There are spring outlets in various places around the rock. The spring water emerges from the lower rock limestone of the Weißjura . The flow varies between 1 l / s and 500 l / s.
course
The Hasenbach flows through the Glastal, where it divides again and again and is sometimes dammed. It flows past Ehrenfels Castle over the Wimsen Waterfalls. There, too, it splits up several times and passes a few steps. At the Wimsener Höhle it flows into the Zwiefalter Aach a few meters after its origin .
