The term "Em Hasenklief" was first documented in 1647. The part of the name "Klief" means something like "slope, hillside, hill, cliff or mountain ledge" and represents a relationship to the location of the court.
geography
The street "Am Hasenclev" lies between Düppelstraße and Haddenbacher Straße. The actual courtyard, located directly above Haddenbacher Straße, consists of old buildings, including house no. 67 - the oldest residential building in Remscheid. Two farms were once located here and supplied the people in the area.
