Bunny New Year's Eve
Hares New Year is in the hunter language the last day jokingly hunting time on hares . Depending on the regulation of the hunting seasons by the German federal states, this is December 31st or January 15th in the Federal Hunting Act . This is followed by the closed season for the brown hare until the beginning of October. Hare New Year's Eve is often celebrated and a roast hare is occasionally eaten with it.
