Hasher Al Maktoum

Sheikh Hasher Al Maktoum (born April 29, 1985 in Dubai ) is a racing car driver from the United Arab Emirates . He started in the Speedcar Series from 2008 to 2009 .

Career

Al Maktoum is a two-time kart champion of the United Arab Emirates.

His first appearance in an international motorsport series was in 2004 in the FIA GT Championship . In 2006 he competed in the French Formula Renault Campus and was 15th overall. Al Maktoum achieved international fame through his involvement in the Speedcar Series . He joined in 2008 for Union Properties to. With three places in the points he was 13th in the drivers' standings, while his team-mate David Terrien was runner-up. The following season , Al Maktoum scored points in every race he finished. At the season finale, he achieved his first and only podium finish in the Speedcar Series with a third place. He improved to seventh place overall in the overall standings.
