Haskell Strait

The Haskell Strait is a tidal current beneath the McMurdo Ice Shelf in Antarctica . In the Ross Archipelago , it leads from Cape Armitage on Ross Island in the northwest to Cape Spencer-Smith on White Island in the southeast and back.

It is named after the oceanographer Timothy G. Haskell, leading scientist of the New Zealand Antarctic Research Program since 1978.
