Cape Armitage ( English Cape Armitage ) is the southern end point of the Hut Point Peninsula and at the same time the southernmost point of the Antarctic Ross Island .
The cape was discovered by participants in the British Discovery Expedition (1901–1904). It is named after the deputy head of this research trip, Lieutenant Albert Armitage (1864–1943).
