Hasko
Hasko is a male given name of Germanic origin, the Frisian pet form of the first name Hasso , which in turn is a short form of the first name Johann or Johannes . Hasko and Hasso are derived from "der Hesse ". The first name Hasko is also used as a name for dogs. It stands for the character trait of hardness (hard). Internationally, Hasko is not widely used as a first name, it is limited to the German-speaking area, especially the Frisian. However , Hasko is used in Ireland as one of a number of short forms for the English first name Harold ( Eng. Harald). As a family name, however, Hasko occurs in the Czech Republic, the female variant is Hasková.
