Oliver Lähndorf (born August 12, 1974 in Lübeck ) is a German cultural manager . As director of the Affordable Art Fair Hamburg, he has been running the art fair since 2011.

Life

Oliver Lähndorf studied business administration and production at the Baden-Württemberg Film Academy and completed a postgraduate course at the Institute for Culture and Media Management in Hamburg .

During his studies, he founded film and photo production number 31 and headed it as managing director for ten years. In addition to his work as a producer, he was already involved in film, photography and art in Hamburg. He supported the founding director of the House of Photography FC Gundlach , was chairman of the Friends of the House of Photography and, as director, initiated the international art book fair Photo + Art Book Hamburg in the Deichtorhallen Hamburg .

Oliver Lähndorf supports young Hamburg artists and is himself a collector of contemporary art. In 2011 he launched the exhibition format Emerging Artists Hamburg. As editor, he publishes the publication Emerging Artists every year for the exhibition at Verlag Seltmann + Söhne.

Oliver Lähndorf has been director of the Affordable Art Fair Hamburg since 2011.
