Hasso Ernst Neven

Hasso Ernst Neven (born August 8, 1937 in Hamburg-Harburg ) is a Lower Saxony politician ( FDP ) and former member of the Lower Saxony state parliament .

Neven attended school in Egestorf and passed the secondary school leaving certificate. Subsequently, he began an agricultural training and did his military service in Hanover between 1968 and 1969. In Celle he attended the engineering academy for agriculture and took over a farm in 1962. He was a member of the Young Democrats and became a member of the FDP in 1963. He was chairman of the FDP district association in Lüneburg. He was also the managing director of the Egestorf Tourist Association and was a council member in Egestorf between 1964 and 1973. From 1970 until the municipal reform in 1972 he was mayor. Since 1968 he was a member of the Harburg district council. In 1972 he became a member of the joint municipal council in Hanstedt . Here he was chairman of the tourism committee. He is the current chairman of the FDP district parliamentary group in the Harburg district . The Liberal sits on the district committee, the school, sport and culture committee and the youth welfare committee. He is a deputy member of the Harburg District Nature Conservation Foundation committee. He is an advisory member of the advisory board of the Harburg district adult education center .

Neven was elected as a member of the Lower Saxony state parliament in the eighth electoral term from June 21, 1974 to June 20, 1978.
