Hatto Brenner (born May 4, 1940 ) is a German entrepreneur and managing partner of AWI International Business Services . His company, Hatto Brenner & Co. GmbH, is an international consulting company for foreign trade based in Erlangen , with consulting offices in 40 countries. He is also President of the Union of German Management Consultants (UDU) and the European Union of Medium-sized Enterprises (EUMU).

Professional activity

Hatto Brenner is active in the field of European and international sales and marketing consulting for small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs). Through this consulting network, he mainly conducts sales and marketing consultations for SMEs and arranges and implements cooperation projects between European and international companies. As part of various European projects, it promotes the internationalization of German companies and the establishment of foreign subsidiaries.

From 1978 he was an independent consultant and managing partner of AWI International Consultants for two years. In 1980 he took over the position of managing partner of AWI International Business Services. In addition to his board membership in various committees and associations in the field of foreign trade and economics, he holds the office of President of the European Union of Medium-sized Enterprises (EUMU) based in Brussels .

He is also the author and publisher of various specialist books and articles on the subject of “Export Marketing” and “International Business Development” as well as a speaker for export-related management seminars.
