Hauke ​​Luther (born May 31, 1965 in Schleswig ) is a German show jumper .

Life

Luther comes from an equestrian family: his father is Peter Luther , his brother Thiess Luther . He grew up on his parents' farm in Plön , where horses were "natural playmates", as the Hamburger Abendblatt wrote in 1993. Hauke ​​Luther became national champion, German champion and European champion of young riders in 1986. He took part in Nations Cups several times . His international successes include victories at the Spangenberg Grand Prix (1991), Dublin (1992) (both on the horse Gaylord) and Malmö (1998) (on the horse Little Gun).

In 1998 he won the Verden Grand Prix, in 2001 he was best at the Hoys Grand Prix and in 2004 at the Neumünster Grand Prix. He worked as a rider at Gut Angermünde, and in September 2010 he won the jumping at the Hohenwalder Horse Days. In spring 2011 Luther moved to the Vineta stable in Altenhagen . In June 2013 he won the advanced (S) level test at the Medelby tournament . He later went to Norway as a jumping coach .
