The Lygumai secondary school (lit. Lygumų pagrindinė mokykla ) is a secondary school in Lygumai , in the Rajongemeinde Pakruojis , Lithuania .
history
In 1805 a parish school was built. From 1905 to 1914 there was a one-year state primary school. From 1914 to 1919 it was two-stage, from 1919 to 1929 three-stage, and from 1930 to 1936 four-stage. From 1936 to 1938 the then Progymnasium had five and from 1939 to 1948 six classes. From 1948 to 1949 there was also a Progymnasium and a primary school. In 1949 the Progymnasium was reformed into a seven-year school. In 1952 it became a middle school with a high school diploma . In 1956 there was the first series of high school graduates. In 2001, 350 students learned. The middle school later became the Hauptschule (10 classes). From 2011 to 2012 the students took part in a Comenius school partnership. In the first year a multilateral school partnership project "Building Together" took place. One visited Budapest in Hungary .
