Vytautas Čepas

Vytautas Čepas (born October 17, 1948 in Šiauliai ) is a Lithuanian psychologist, politician , former mayor of Klaipėda .

Life

From 1957 to 1960 Čepas studied in the Lygumai Middle School with Pakruojis . From 1967 to 1970 he did compulsory service in the Soviet Army in the Northern Fleet . From 1971 to 1976 he completed his graduate studies in psychology at the Faculty of History and from 1981 to 1984, the postgraduate of Vilniaus universitetas valstybinis . In 1986 he received his doctorate from the Academy of Sciences of Ukraine .

From 1976 to 1977 he was an inspector of the Klaipėda Militia , from 1977 to 1978 a psychologist at the Klaipėda Hospital, from 1978 to 1991 a professor and lecturer at the Klaipėda Faculty of the Šiauliai Pedagogical Institute . From 2000 to 2001 he was press representative of UAB "Itera Lietuva" and project director at UAB "Publicum". From 2002 to 2004 he was UAB “Hondera” director. From 2009 he was a lecturer at the University of Klaipėda .

From 1990 to 1995 he was deputy and chairman of the deputy council, from 1995 to 2004 and from 2011 to 2015 he was a member of the council of the municipality of Klaipėda , from April 2011 deputy mayor of the port municipality . From 1996 to 2000 and from 2004 to 2008 he was a member of the Seimas .
