The residential business-house main road 245 is in the district of Rheydt in Mönchengladbach ( Nordrhein-Westfalen ).
The building was built in 1901. It was entered under No. H 043 on December 15, 1987 in the monuments list of the city of Mönchengladbach .
architecture
The house number 245 under consideration is the left half of a duplex house 245/247 . Since the house was built in one, the description follows for the whole property. The building, which was planned in 2: 6 axes in 1881 , was converted into a residential office building in 1890. The house essentially reproduces this second state today. The brick building with a plastered facade does not have a basement in the left part, but here, as on the right, shows a dirt base that is mosaicked on the left . The two entrances are in the middle. The roof was re-covered with interlocking tiles after the war .
