The house at Hauptstrasse 28 in Gundelfingen an der Donau , a town in the Swabian district of Dillingen an der Donau ( Bavaria ), was built in the 17th century. The building is a protected monument .

architecture

The two-storey gabled house with a modern shop on the ground floor has profile cornices as a storey separation . The gable, bordered on the side by S-steps, is divided vertically by pilaster strips into five zones, these end in crenellated form . The horizontal profile cornices are cranked with the pilaster strips . Both gable tops are crowned by a battlement. The upper floor with five axes has rectangular windows that were originally fitted with blinds . On the long side we see a storey separation by profiled cornices and a profiled eaves cornice .

The rear, narrower gable is asymmetrical vertically divided into six zones, and as the front crenellated, the small saddle roofs have crowned. On this side there is a segment arch hatch with elevator beam. The basement and the middle room on the ground floor are covered by barrel vaults.
