House Bucking

The Bücking house is located in Bremen , Schwachhausen district, Bürgerpark district, Brahmsstrasse 5. The building was built in 1907 according to plans by Hugo Wagner . It has been a listed building in Bremen since 1992 .

history

The two-storey house with a three-storey middle section and partly with a mansard roof was built in 1907 at the turn of the century in the reform style for the superstructure and hydraulic engineering director Hermann Bücking .

The architect Wagner was married to von Bücking's daughter. During his time in Bremen he planned a. a. the St. Jürgen Asylum in Ellen, the neo-Gothic cemetery chapel at Oberneulander Landstrasse 41, the Walle water tower , the Kaffee-HAG-Werk I and his house at Brahmsstrasse 1 (demolished).

Today (2018) the house is used by apartments.
