The house of Dr. Screed was created in Jüterbog (Brandenburg) from 1929 to 1930 . It was designed by the architect Konrad Wachsmann and was designed as a residential building with a doctor's office for Emmy and Georg Estrich. The house is located in Bleichhag 6 directly on the historic old town wall, into which a defense tower is integrated. The house belongs to the classic modern and is a good example of this design form.

Konrad Wachsmann wrote about his first work as a freelance architect: “The first step to having your own architectural office was a house in Jüterbog. I built an apartment and practice there for a doctor. This man was called Georg Estrich. He was a vegetarian and sun worshiper, loved nude beaches and also walked around the ordination rooms in shorts. Incidentally, his house was supposed to remain the only stone building I built. In any case, that was the beginning. "

The house is solid brick and plastered.

According to the state monument list , the building is one of the city's architectural monuments .
