Forst Zinna
Forst Zinna is a military area north of Jüterbog. At the beginning of the 1930s, the "Adolf Hitler Camp" and a provisions store were built here. The area was used for military purposes from 1935. After the Second World War, the Soviet troops took over the area. On January 19, 1988, six people died and 33 were injured in the Forst Zinna railway accident .

Happy ones
The village was probably created in the middle of the 13th century. In the area there are several villages from the same period, but which fell into desolation again in the 14th century, such as Zippeldorf and Dalem. All the inhabitants of the village died in the Thirty Years War, and it was settled again from 1665. From 1900 to 1963 Fröden had a connection to the Jüterbog-Luckenwalder Kreiskleinbahnen .

Grüna
The village probably originated in the 12th century. Grüna was a monastery village and belonged to the Zinna monastery, from 1553 to the Zinna office. In 1642 the village burned down, but it was rebuilt. The railway line was opened in 1841, and Grüna received a station on this route. In 1870 Grüna was completely destroyed by a fire.

Jueterbog
The place Jüterbog is mentioned for the first time in 1007. A castle is mentioned in 1161, and the Church of Our Lady is built in 1173. Jüterbog was granted town charter in 1174, and the current old town was created. To the east of Jüterbog, Neumarkt is founded, which is mentioned for the first time in 1218. In the 14th and 15th centuries, the suburbs of Zinaer Vorstadt, Vorstadt Neumarkt and Dammvorstadt grow outside the city gates. Further expansion of the city continued with the settlement of the military in the 19th and 20th centuries.

Zinna Monastery
The area around Zinna Monastery has been inhabited since the Bronze Age. In 1170 the Cistercian monastery was founded by the Archbishop of Magdeburg, Wichmann . It was founded in the northwestern part of the present day town. The monastery developed into one of the big landowners, so numerous villages in the area, the city of Luckenwalde and Ländereinem in Barnim belonged . In 1533 the monastery was closed and the Zinna office was established. In 1764 a linen weaver colony was built according to plans by King Friedrich II . A right-angled road network was laid out, with an octagonal square in the middle. Most are semi-detached houses. In 1919 a plush weaving mill was opened, and after the Second World War it was continued as VEB plush and upholstery fabric weaving mill Hohenstein-Ernstthal.

Brandendorf
Markendorf is mentioned for the first time in 1368. However, circular graves from the Bronze Age have been found northwest of the town. The church and school burned down in the Thirty Years War. The place was almost uninhabited. The estate was founded in 1665. The establishment of a pioneer training area at the beginning of the 20th century was important for the development of the village. Landmine tests were carried out here and war gas was tested. In 1921, displaced persons from Alsace settled northeast of Markendorf in the settlement.

Neuheim
The place was mentioned as the village of Zinna as early as 1170. At that time it already belonged to the Zinna Monastery. In 1413 and 1417 the village was sacked. In the years 1642, 1709, 1760, 1866 and 1875 there were major fires that destroyed major parts of the village. From 1864 the military training area shaped the area around the village of Zinna. In 1937 the village had to be left because of an expansion of the military training area, but the houses remained standing. They were used as homes for the workers in the military camp. After the Second World War, refugees from Gablonz came to the town and started a glass jewelry factory. In 1950 it became VEB Gablona jewelry.

Werder
The foundation of the place is in the 12th or 13th century. At that time the village belonged to the Zinna monastery. The place was repopulated from the middle of the 18th century. As part of the construction of the Royal Prussian Military Railway, the place received a train station, which is, however, far outside the place. The military shaped Werder in the 20th century, before the Second World War there was a bomb dropping site nearby, after the Second World War the area around Werder was a training area for the Warsaw Pact.
