Paul Backes

Paul Backes (born May 17, 1900 in Frankfurt am Main , † June 17, 1963 in Berlin ) was a German architect .

Life

Paul Backes was an architect in the Luckenwalde municipal building department from 1926 to 1929 ; later he made there as an architect independently . After the Second World War he worked in Berlin, initially as an architect for the German Sports Committee Berlin-Pankow (1950). From 1952 he worked for Hermann Henselmann in the Berlin (East) magistrate . In 1954 he became the chief architect at VEB Projektierung Berlin.
