House Englishmen
The Engländer house (former address Briller Höhe 8 ) was a monumental villa in the Briller district in Wuppertal - Elberfeld . The villa is also known under the later name Villa Koch .
The villa built by the architect Emanuel von Seidl in 1907, like the neighboring Keetman house , was closed in March 1980. In 1980 it was not recognized as a monument by the state curator due to structural changes .
After the resignation, the "Builders' Association Parkresidenz Briller Höhe" had an atrium built in 1982/83 , according to their brochure a "luxury residential complex at Wuppertal's most exclusive location".
