The house at Langenstraße 11 ( book trading Storm ) is located in Bremen , Mitte district , Langenstraße 11 next to the Stadtwaage. It was built in 1955. The building has been a part of the Langenstrasse monument group since 1973 and has been a listed building in Bremen .

history

The four-storey, clinkered gabled house with a saddle roof was built around 1955 as a post-war building in the conservative style of the 1950s as a commercial building.

The bookstore Storm was founded in 1897 as one of the oldest bookstores in Bremen in the Hutfilterstraße by Johannes Storm as an art and bookstore. It then moved to the Domshof and burned down in 1944. It is the location for many events and author readings .

Today (2018) the house is used by the bookstore, BLB Immobilien GmbH and other offices.
