The Ritter is located in Bremen , district Schwachhausen , district Schwachhausen, Kurfürstenallee 23. The villa was built in 1928, designed by Fritz Strohecker. It has been a listed building in Bremen since 1994 .
history
The two-storey, large, brick-built villa with a hipped roof and L-shape was built in the interwar period in 1928 in a conservative style and with a clear design language. The builder was the tobacco merchant and Bremen Senator (only 1933) and State Councilor (1933–1945) Hermann Ritter ( DNVP ).
Nearby are other notable houses such as the Oelzweig-Haus (No. 8), Villa Halle (No. 11) and the Bremen Logenhaus (No. 15)
The Ansgarii after-school care center was temporarily located here until 2016 . Around 2016/18 the house was empty and a discussion about its use was held. Today (2018) the house is used by offices. The building lost its clear shape due to rear extensions.
