Haus Verken was a mansion near Pier , a former part of the municipality of Inden in the Düren district in North Rhine-Westphalia .

House Verken was entered under No. 31 in the list of monuments of the municipality of Inden .

location

Haus Verken was located between Pommenich and Vilvenich on the L 257. The Schlichbach ran directly behind Haus Verken until January 21, 2013, but it had to be relocated because of the opencast mine.

history

The Verken house was built around the turn of the century. A nursery also belonged to him. Before Haus Verken was demolished, it was uninhabited for several years. It had to give way to the Inden opencast mine .
