map
In honor of Johann Theodor Bausch, who made a name for himself as a church master in the early days, this bluestone obelisk stood directly behind the entrance gate on the middle path of the old cemetery. In 1817 the Bausch family donated the field to the evangelical parish to set up the cemetery. Until then, the Protestant Indians had to have their dead buried in Jülich. After almost 200 years of existence, the dead were reburied in communal cemeteries due to resettlement and the obelisk was restored here and given its new place of honor. E. 19th century 05.03.1986 5

Courtyard Courtyard Lamersdorf
Mittelstrasse 19
map
The former three-wing brick courtyard, built around 1820, is still made up of the two-storey residential building in a corner location and the gatehouse to the east with a small stable and farmhouse. The barn that was located at the back no longer exists. In its original structural scope, the complex represents the type of the regionally important Franconian courtyard shape. The design features of the house are characteristic of the construction period. The gable end faces the main street with a crooked hip and two thermal bath windows in the top of the gable, otherwise regularly arranged, high rectangular windows with straight lintels and cloaks and sills made of bluestone. The eaves side is also laid out regularly, and the profiled box cornice in the eaves area indicates the construction time. In terms of the floor plan, the house still corresponds to the traditional three-room type with access from the courtyard in the central axis. Presumably, the house was built instead of an older predecessor, as older building fragments can be seen on the courtyard side. Inside are z. Some of the so-called Cologne ceilings are still preserved, the roof structure is undisturbed. The original gate system was arched, today the courtyard is accessed via a rectangular doorway. The supporting structure of the economic wing (partially half-timbered towards the courtyard) is largely in its original condition. Accordingly, the courtyard documents the way people lived and worked in this region in the early 19th century. The shape of the complex clearly shows traces of the Prussian building tradition. 1820 10/27/1992 40
