House Lützeler
The Lützeler house is near Lamersdorf , a district of Inden (Rhineland) in the Düren district in North Rhine-Westphalia . The Wehebach flows directly by the house .
House Lützeler is first mentioned in the 14th century: In 1398 Johann Vruntgin von Lutzelen and his wife Bela Carsilius von Palant , the owner of Burg Breitenbend near Linnich , sold their farm in Lucherberg . At the same time Carsilius von Palant acquired their farm in Lützeler from Peter von Loyvenberg , his wife and her sister. The von Palant family remained in the possession of Haus Lützeler until the end of the 17th century. As the builder , they presumably gave the estate the shape it still has today - apart from renovations and destruction.
Haus Lützeler is a rectangular complex that is still partially surrounded by wet ditches. Buildings occupy three sides of the rectangle, the fourth free side in the south was formerly in front of the garden beyond the moat . The manor house , built in the 16th century, was located on the south-west corner of the courtyard and was destroyed in the Second World War except for a few remains of the wall. This building was a two-stepped gable and a slate gable roof . The main structure of the farm buildings of Haus Lützeler belong to the 17th to 18th centuries.
Around 1700 Johann Caspar Gilles bought Haus Lützeler from the von Palant family . After his death, his widow Isabella Katharina von Broich married the Jülich Wehrmeistereiverwalter Johann Caspar Cüpper , who died in 1728. After that, Haus Lützeler seems to have fallen to one of Gilles' children. The next owner is named von Rödingen in the documents . After the death of Maria Theresia von Rödingen in 1786, the estate fell to her son-in-law von Palmer in Düsseldorf . Then the property came to the Steffens family, later by marriage to the Scheuer family in Jülich . Today Haus Lützeler is owned by Rheinbraun AG .
Haus Lützeler is a listed building .
